When I met Naosheen and Husain, I was instantly taken by how kind, sweet and polite they were. As I got to know them better, I discovered they had as much inner beauty as they did outer gorgeous-ness. Naosheen lives in New York, and Husain lives here, so I asked how this bi-coastal couple met. They said they met in Washington DC, and when pressed for more details, revealed that it was at Jon Stewart’s Rally to Restore Sanity. Wow. Talk about meeting your soulmate across a crowded room National Mall. It just goes to show you that when the right one is out there, you will find him/her.
Naosheen suggested photographing with cherry trees and we were fortunate that the trees at the University of Washington quad were at their peak on the weekend she was visiting. They were such troopers, not even complaining about the cold.
They’ll be married in May, in a three-day traditional Indian ceremony. I know Naosheen will be a stunning bride, and Husain will be one handsome groom. Congratulations you two!
